1 Name of Regulation
This Regulation is the Air Transport Regulation 2006.
2 Commencement
This Regulation commences on 1 July 2006.
3 Definitions
In this Regulation:quarter means the period of 3 months ending on 30 September, 31 December, 31 March or 30 June.Sydney-linked route means any route that begins or ends at, or passes through, Sydney (Kingsford-Smith) Airport.the Act means the Air Transport Act 1964.
4 Statistical information to be provided
(1) A person involved in the operation or provision of air transport services within New South Wales must, within 6 weeks after the end of each quarter, provide information to the Director-General as to the total number of passengers carried by the person during that quarter over each Sydney-linked route over which the person operates or provides those services.(2) Compliance with the requirements of this clause may be made a condition of a licence granted under section 6 of the Act.
