An Act to amend the Heritage Act 1977 and the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 with respect to the Heritage Council of New South Wales, State heritage items and other items of heritage significance; and for other purposes.
1 Name of Act
This Act is the Heritage Amendment Act 2009.
2 Commencement
(1) This Act commences on a day or days to be appointed by proclamation, except as provided by this section.(2) Schedule 1 [18]–[23] and Schedule 2 [7]–[9] are taken to have commenced on 3 November 2008.(3) Schedule 2 [1] and [2] commence on the commencement of section 23G of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 to be inserted by Schedule 2.1 [13] to the Environmental Planning and Assessment Amendment Act 2008.(4) Schedule 2 [3] commences on the commencement of section 23H of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 to be inserted by Schedule 2.1 [13] to the Environmental Planning and Assessment Amendment Act 2008.
