Her Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following Regulation under the Drug and Alcohol Treatment Act 2007.

1 Name of Regulation
This Regulation is the Drug and Alcohol Treatment Regulation 2012.
2 Commencement
This Regulation commences on 4 September 2012 and is required to be published on the NSW legislation website.
3 Definition
In this Regulation:the Act means the Drug and Alcohol Treatment Act 2007.
4 Area where Act applies
For the purposes of section 4 (1) of the Act, the whole of the State is the area prescribed.
5 Regular inspections of treatment centres
For the purposes of section 29 (7) of the Act, an official visitor must visit each treatment centre at least once each calendar month.
