This Act has also been amended pursuant to an order under secs 8 (2) and 9 (3) of the Reprints Act 1972 No 48 (previously Acts Reprinting Act 1972). Order dated 31.5.1979, and published in GG No 73 of 1.6.1979, p 2703, declaring that:
(a)the Habitual Criminals Act 1957 is an enactment to which sec 8 (2) of the Acts Reprinting Act 1972 applies, and
(b)the Habitual Criminals Act 1957, the words “of this Act” where thirdly occurring in sec 2 (2) (b) and the words “of this Act” where secondly occurring in sec 8 (1) excepted, is an enactment to which sec 9 (3) of the Acts Reprinting Act 1972 applies.
