1 Name of regulation
This regulation is the Statutory and Other Offices Remuneration Regulation 2024.s 1: Am 2024 (535), Sch 1[1].
2 Commencement
This regulation commences on the day on which it is published on the NSW legislation website.Note—This regulation repeals and replaces the Statutory and Other Offices Remuneration (Judicial and Other Office Holders) Regulation 2013, which would otherwise be repealed on 1 September 2024 by the Subordinate Legislation Act 1989, section 10(2).
3 Definitions
In this regulation—the Act means the Statutory and Other Offices Remuneration Act 1975.Note—The Act and the Interpretation Act 1987 contain definitions and other provisions that affect the interpretation and application of this regulation.s 3: Am 2024 (535), Sch 1[2].
4 Equal remuneration policy
For the Act, sections 6AA(2)(a) and 6AB(2)(a), a policy of equal remuneration for persons, regardless of gender, for doing work of equal or comparable value is declared.s 4: Subst 2024 (535), Sch 1[3].

6A Government fiscal position and outlook policy
For the Act, sections 6AA(2)(a) and 6AB(2)(a), a policy that, when making a determination, the Tribunal must have regard to the fiscal position and outlook of the Government, and the likely effect of making the determination on the position and outlook, is declared.s 6A: Ins 2024 (535), Sch 1[5].
7 Repeal and savings
(1) The Statutory and Other Offices Remuneration (Judicial and Other Office Holders) Regulation 2013 is repealed.(2) An act, matter or thing that, immediately before the repeal of the Statutory and Other Offices Remuneration (Judicial and Other Office Holders) Regulation 2013, had effect under that regulation continues to have effect under this regulation.
