10.5 Offences: obstruction or impersonation of authorised officer
A person must not:(a) threaten, hinder, obstruct or delay an authorised officer in the exercise of the officer’s functions under this Act or the regulations, or(b) damage, destroy or interfere with any vehicle or equipment that is used in the exercise of an authorised officer’s functions under this Act or the regulations, or(c) impersonate an authorised officer.Maximum penalty (subject to section 10.25 (4)):(a) for a corporation—2,000 penalty units and, for a continuing offence, a further penalty of 200 penalty units for each day the offence continues, or(b) for an individual—1,000 penalty units and, for a continuing offence, a further penalty of 100 penalty units for each day the offence continues.
