32Regulations
(1)
The Governor may make regulations, not
inconsistent with this Act, for or with respect to any matter that by this Act
is required or permitted to be prescribed for carrying out or giving effect to
this Act and, in particular, for or with respect to:
(a)
the procedure for the calling of, and for the
conduct of business at, meetings of the Committee,
(b)
the travelling expenses and the compensation to
be paid to persons attending or giving evidence at an inquiry or examination
as referred to in section 20, and
(c)
the remuneration, travelling and subsistence
allowances to be paid to members, not being members of the Committee, of a
sub-committee established under section 12.
(2)
A regulation may authorise any matter or thing to
be from time to time determined, applied or regulated by any person specified
therein, either generally or for any class of cases or in a particular
case.
(3)
A regulation may be made so as to apply
differently according to such factors as may be specified in the
regulation.
(4)
A regulation may impose a penalty not exceeding 5
penalty units for any offence against the regulation.
